Toledo Central Catholic finishes the Team season with a Final Four State Finish! In the final four dual meets of the 2012-2013 wrestling season the Irish of Toledo Central Catholic competed against the 8th, 6th, 3rd, and 1st ranked Ohio Division II teams. The squad came a long way from the initial competition at the Archbold Frickers Duals hosted at Defiance College and opening dual meet with Wauseon HS where the Irish began the season with a 4-7 record. Lacking several football players from a state championship season and a couple other starters due to preseason injuries, CCHS had a slow start. After a little patience and lots of hard work, the squad started to gel as a team and began to believe in themselves, finishing the last half of the season with a 14-2 dual meet record. The team and Coach Guerra's goals for the first segment of the season were achieved! Now heading into the individual championship season the guys are ready for that challenge as well!! Next week marks the NW Sectional (South) Championships at the BGSU Stroh center and every individual entering the tournament is 0-0. Gallery of 99 Photos. High Res Photos. Blade Article.
